Corrosion-resisting steel welding

Stainless steel welding is possible with various welding technique’s, suitable varies by situation and our many years of experience ensures that we can always make the right choice.
Stainless steel is plain steel in which additional components are added such as chromium, nickel, molybdenum, titanium, manganese, nitrogen and silicon to make the properties such as corrosion resistance higher.
If the chrome from stainless steel comes into contact with oxygen, it forms an invisible oxide skin which is protecting the underlying metal against corrosion.
In principle, the line is the more chrome and alloy additions, the better corrosion resistant.
Well-known stainless steel type is 304 stainless steel, 309 stainless steel and  316L stainless steel where the numbers indicate which alloys be in it and the letters indicate which additional components are in it for better weldability.
321 stainless steel and 437 stainless steel are heat-resistant stainless steel types, for example, aircraft exhausts.
In stainless steel, you can count on us for any welding job, think of repair, new construction, construction, design and more.
Important for the corrosion resistance is the post-processing after welding, we can grind it, brush it, pickling it, passivating and polishing it.
Our stainless steel section is separated from the steel Division to get the best quality.

The number of stainless steel products that we have welded is hard to keep up, we think of about 3,000 objects.

On other pages, you will find other welding to titanium, aluminum, cast aluminum, ships, art and much more!
