A company that makes circuit boards had a request for 12 pieces titanium ‘grabs’.
A simple design, a piece around 8 mm with an M8 threaded welded.
The grabs are used to hold print plates which will drop in a liquid tinbath of 275 degrees.
As you can see, titanium products do not always need to be high tech, in this case, the high corrosion resistance in combination with the temperature rise to titanium.
Just customize everything, attach it in the purge chamber, and weld in the purge chamber, all under 20 PPM due to the extremely acidic bath where they come in.
