Tantalum welding chemical reactor

This is a tantalum reactor designed by the research and development department of a very large chemical company, our job was to weld the parts together. The pictures are partly blurred because of an NDA. With a melting temperature of 3020 degrees/ 5468 F welding tantalum into a purge chamber is a very difficult task, especially since it also involved a fillet weld. We are specialized in advanced welding and this resulted in an excellent weld perform on this job.
