Copper pipes RIVM

At the National Institute for public health and the environment (RIVM), in the basement there was a copper lead around 160 mm that was leaking. To fix this, there needed a piece of about 2.5 meters to be replaced. To this piece, there should be added a tube connector to connect the old main pipe to the new, also a flange and a vent is being placed.

The replacement piece have we made in the workshop, we were asked whether we could use Tig welding instead of soldering, after this we have replaced the lead spot.
